  • Result: X3 AI produced a coherent and informative abstract, detailing the PV array, inverter, battery storage system, and EV charger, which indicates a strong performance in generating concise and relevant content.



2. Creating a Thesis Outline

Next, we asked X3 AI to provide a thesis outline for the same paper title. Here's what we found:

  • Prompt: "Generate a thesis outline for the paper titled 'Grid Connected PV System for EV Charging Station.'"

  • Result: While X3 AI provided a basic outline including sections like introduction, literature review, methodology, results, and conclusion, it was more of a mini-thesis rather than a detailed outline. This suggests the model might need further refinement for comprehensive thesis structuring.

3. Writing a Literature Review

We tested X3 AI’s ability to create a literature review from a set of references:

  • Prompt: "From the following references, make a literature review by providing main findings and citing them properly."

  • References: Five selected academic papers.

  • Result: X3 AI successfully generated a detailed literature review, summarizing the main findings of each reference with proper citations. This demonstrates its capability in synthesizing research information effectively.

4. Converting a Table to Paragraph Text

Lastly, we examined X3 AI’s ability to convert a table into paragraph text:

  • Prompt: "Summarize the table provided."

  • Result: X3 AI provided a general summary but did not detail specific values or insights from the table. This indicates that while it can summarize content, it might require additional training to handle data-intensive tasks more accurately.

Conclusion

X3 AI, powered by the PaLM 2 model, shows promising capabilities in generating research content, particularly in abstracts and literature reviews. However, it requires further development for tasks like detailed thesis outlines and table-to-text conversions.
